moviejuice is an Adelaide-based film collective dedicated to the screening and production of alternative and experimental cinema. As both programmers and filmmakers, they are committed to fostering communal spaces for boundary-pushing film work on Kaurna land, with an emphasis on the Australian film scene and its future.

As a screening collective, they have run film and music events in both theatrical and DIY spaces. Their events have spanned a diverse range of themes, including new Australian and international independent cinema, repertory programs that champion undersung corners of film history, and live-score events with local bands that bring together their local arts community.

As a production collective, they have completed three microbudget features and seven shorts, with four new features currently in pre-production. Stylistically diverse but united by a shared DIY sensibility, collectively their work uncovers the routine absurdities and occasional moments of transcendence found amongst the haunted landscapes of 21st-century South Australia.
