Director Biography
Gabriel Bath is a filmmaker and occasional actor. A recent graduate of the Bachelor of Creative Arts at Flinders University (Honours), Bath has already completed two features and three shorts. Bath is a member of moviejuice, an Adelaide based film collective that specialises in the screening and distribution of alternative and experimental cinema. His films have played in Adelaide, Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. His films centre around conspiracy, collage, community, history, association and improvisation. They have been featured on Pure Shit Australian Cinema’s best of the year lists in 2023 and 2025, as well as garnering an honourable mention on The Curb’s best Australian films of 2023.Malls, in which Bath co-starred and co-wrote, was listed as the 21st best Australian film of 2025 on The Curb.
